Conditions and Values
Under Conditions and Values tab, configure the conditions according to which the dynamic attribute will function.
Screenshot: Conditions and Values
Select the product attribute that you wish to set as dynamic. Then select the Condition to be fulfilled in order for the necessary Value to be output.
The following conditions are available:
- not equal
- greater than
- less than
- greater than or equal to
- less than or equal to
- not like
Select the type of the output value. Available types are:
Attribute: the value of the attribute selected in the last column will be output in the feed instead of the attribute selected in the first column.
Static Value: the text entered in the "Value" field will be output statically in the feed for the products that meet the specified condition.
Percent from value: mostly used for the price attributes in order to output discounted or special prices as percentage of the general product price, or increased prices that include taxes.
Configurable values: used to output the values of the specified attributes for Configurable products in the feed.
- If MPN is not empty (or no value) - output MPN;
- If MPN is empty - output SKU.
Enter an "Output Value" that replaces or changes the "Value" from Condition.
- If the condition is "Price is greater than 0", Output Value is "115" and Output Type is "Percent from Value Price", this means that the FeedPro extension will check the condition and if it is true, the percent will be taken from the price as it is written in the Output Type. So, if the price is $100 it will meet the condition, and the value in the feed file will be shown as a percent according to the Output Value >> $115.
- Another condition: Color is equal Green, Output Type = Static >> this means that if the condition is true, the value Green will be displayed in the field as it is written statically.
Possibility to output Parent URL in Output Value of a dynamic attribute
This option outputs URL of a Parent Product for its Child Products.
If a product does not have a Parent Product, then the URL of the product itself will be output in this field.
You can Add or Delete conditions using the "Add Condition" or "Remove" buttons.
Use Default Attribute
Select the Attribute that will be used for the products which do not meet the specified conditions.
Add New Value
You can add new values with condition(s) using the "Add New Value" button.
Import Conditions and Export Conditions
These options allow you to export and import Fields Mapping of the Dynamic Attribute into other feeds.
These options will not be available until after you have created at least one Dynamic Attribute.
As soon as all attributes are configured, save the settings. In order to add the Dynamic attribute to the feed, go to Content settings and create a new field for your Dynamic attribute. If your feed format is XML, use the Dynamic attribute code from the Attribute information tab to include the attribute to XML feed structure.
