How to use Product Designer for Configurable products

Product Designer extension can be used for both Simple and Configurable products. All you need to do is enable Product Designer for the products that are allowed to be designed on the frontend. Refer to the Product Settings. If a Configurable product is enabled for design, the images of its Child products will be used. Your customer will also be able to choose the necessary color and size of the product on the Product Designer page instead of the Product View page.
